Freedom to broadcast



A form of podcasting that has acted as a public service is news relay. By re-broadcasting daily news stories, the vast majority of the public that was unaware of world events has yet another outlet for on the go activity.

The news is not only podcast through the use of news relay, but any podcast broadcaster can put their own spin on news stories and virtually create their own news network. Having such a variety of sources to look through for informative listening, either for political news or just to hear the most recent celebrity gossip, is why a listener can always find something they can enjoy.
